I have a severe chronic illness and am housebound for 99% of the time. I would like to show my support for this March even though my physical limitations mean that I can’t attend in person. I think it’s important that every woman has the chance to have her voice heard.I live in the U.K….

I march because although my body is broken, every cell of my body can still fight for the preservation of the dignity, freedom and rights of all, especially that of women, of children, of LGBTQ people; of people with disabilities of every kind; people of beliefs of every kind, backgrounds of every kind and colors…

I march because I do not want Trump in the position he has been allowed, yes I said “allowed” to have as President.

I am participating in this March because I am horrified by everything the new “president” has said and done.

We cannot let our momentum stop or our hard-won progress be reversed. We are here, and we’re not going away, we won’t be silenced. We are as vital as every other member of our community. We fight for ourselves and others who’ve faced social injustice, whether it’s sex, ability, race, nationality, religion, or creed.

I will be taking care of my grandson tomorrow while my children are out marching.  I will be protecting the future and so will they.  Being around him gives me great hope for our future.

I am joining the Disability March because I believe it is time to end the stigmas associated with physical and mental disabilities.
