Why I Am Joining The March : Unable to physically join March due to health, but want to show my solidarity with the women who will be marching. I feel we do a disservice to ourselves and fellow human beings if we do not stand up against hate.

I am deeply disappointed that I am unable to attend any marches due to a recent total knee replacement. But I am the daughter of an activist; resisting fascism and social injustice is in my DNA! My heart, soul and SPIRIT are marching with you.

I am joining the march to protest the treatment of women and all other racial and ethnic minorities as well as people with disabilities. I hope that this man’s inauguration will be catalyst this country needs to get back on the right track.

My husband passed away 8 months ago. He was a Type 1 Diabetic and on dialysis for over 14 years. I am visually impaired and still raising 2 children. I am not complaining or whining, those are just the facts of my life. Obviously, issues that affect the disabled and/or chronically ill matter to me….
