I’m joining the disability march to be part of the fight for justice in our country.  I fight because I am disabled and my sister is disabled.  I fight for all of us who are disabled, elderly, or low income, and rely on Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Food Stamps, or Welfare for survival.  I fight because I am bisexual.  I fight for all of us who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgendered.  I fight because I live on this planet earth that needs to be protected.  I fight for all of us who live on this planet earth.  I fight because I am Jewish.  I fight for everyone who is Jewish, and everyone who is Muslim, and everyone who is part of any religion which Trump seeks to oppress.  I fight because I grew up learning about the Holocaust.  I fight against a Muslim registry, or any kind of religious registry, because it is clear to me where that can lead. I fight because I am a descendant of immigrants.  I fight for all of today’s immigrants.  I fight for all people who are oppressed because they are not white.  I fight because I am a woman and my body is my own.  I fight because sexual assault should never be normalized.  I fight for all women’s rights to control their own body, to protect it from sexual assault, and to maintain their reproductive rights.  I fight because Trump and his followers seek to turn America into a country of hate, oppression, and bigotry, but we will not let that happen.  I fight because I know we can be better than what Trump is trying to make us.  I fight because I am afraid, but together we are brave. I fight because it is in unity that we find power.
Bio: I am a writer, an artist, and a crafter.  I am a woman living with mental illness.  I am Jewish and also practice an individualized form of nature worship.  I am a vegetarian and I love appreciating animals.  I am caregiver to a cat who I adore, and who helps me manage my mental illness symptoms.   I am feminist and body positive.  I am creative and imaginative.  My dream is to find ways to use my arts to fight sexism, misogyny, mental illness stigma, fatphobia, rape culture, homophobia, biphobia, and other forms of societal injustice.
