Due to chronic illness I can’t physically march. I am thrilled for this chance to participate! This march is important to me because as someone with chronic illness health insurance is very important to me and the prospect of losing it is frightening. Just as important, is the idea of showing solidarity. I want it to be known that I stand up for people of different faiths, ethnicities, races, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds in an effort to move forward and to not lose ground on the progress we have made as the diverse country that is America.
