I believe in women’s rights passionately, and am unable to physically join members of my feminist group, Suffolk Feminist Society, at the solidarity march in London this weekend due to a recently diagnosed neuromuscular disease. I have a pussyhat at the ready and so want to be there!
I am founder and chair of Suffolk Feminist Society based in England. My group has almost 170 members, who campaign, protest, demonstrate, challenge and generally stand against inequality and gender bias. I’m also a member of the IC Change UK campaign team, lobbying our government to ratify the Istanbul Convention. Until recently I worked for a rape crisis charity. I am often invited to speak publicly about domestic and sexual violence.
