Due to multiple chronic illnesses and an anxiety disorder, I am unable to attend any physical marches or protests. But the threat that Trump and his incoming administration poses to women, minorities, and the disabled, chronically ill, and mentally ill population is immense and incalculable. Not only is Trump a closed-minded, racist, ableist misogynist who insights and promotes hatred in others, he is also bringing in a host of unqualified non-politicians only concerned with special interests and eliminating our rights and safety for their own personal gains.

I’ve never been this afraid of being a Jewish, disabled woman in this country, and my only hope is that if we all speak out and band together in whatever ways we can, we will survive this and repair the damage as quickly as possible.
