We are marching for equal rights and equal opportunities FOR ALL. We do not want the progress of the last 8 years to be seen as an aberration or a mistake. The Obama administration accomplished so much for so many. We worry about our friends who depend on Obamacare and what will happen to them when it is repealed. We worry about what could happen to our own health insurance, which costs us more and more. Most importantly, we want our nieces and nephew to inherit a world that is at least as good as it is now – not worse!

We are a married couple, both disabled (though neither of us was disabled when we got married). Mike walks with a cane and has severe pain issues but is still able to work full time. Alexis, a proud graduate of a women’s college, is on Disability due to fibromyalgia and other health issues.
