My mother and I both have disabilities that prevent us from joining in this important march. We believe that all people are deserving of equal rights and respect, and have grave concerns about the rhetoric of hate and ignorance espoused by Trump and his administration. We cannot physically stand for long, but we stand in our hearts for women’s rights, minority rights, immigrant rights, the rights of disabled Americans, and the right to affordable healthcare for all!
Anne worked in non-profit development before having to go on disability in her late 20s because of Crohn’s diease and autoimmune arthritis. Virginia is a retired teacher. They’re from Massachusetts.
