As a chronically ill person, I refuse to be invisible in this important political moment. I’m thankful to be joining in solidarity with the Women’s March, particularly the anti-racist and disabled contingents. This administration and its regressive ambitions must be opposed at every turn. With my participation here, I commit to working for collective liberation for all of us. Big thanks to the organizers for providing this space! Don’t let anyone tell you your online work doesn’t count. It matters to me and so many of us.

Bio: I am an Advocate for Arthritis and a racial justice organizer in Virginia. I have four children. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis around 18 months of age and have been contending with it for almost 40 years.
