Older woman with curly brown hair and glasses, wearing a colorful scarf and leather jacket. She is facing the camera, looking to the right.

I was going to the satellite march in NYC but now I have the norovirus. Eleven years ago I had brain surgery and that left me with Ataxia- a rare neurological disorder that impacts all my motor skills. Thankfully I can still walk a bit but my immune system is very compromised. I don’t let it stop me though! I don’t need any implements so far.

It is wholly courageous and right for this brave woman to offer all her support to the cause for disabled residents, having to deal with such a difficult life.
