I feel helpless. Betrayed. First by my body, and now by my country. I did not ask for the autoimmune diseases and PTSD that rule my life. I struggle every day with feeling useless. Now I find that my very existence, both health care, and the disability money I get that pays * only part* of my rent is in danger.
Every man for himself is not how this country became great. Wealth and greatness are not the same thing. Wake up. Grow up. Look at facts, not “factoids”. ” Greater love hath no man than he give his life for his friend. “
Now look at the man you elected. Do you see any altruism, and peace, any willingness to do anything other than fill his coffers? Does this…person… you elected represent ANYTHING other than greed and fear? Look hard, and think hard. For you are not immune. It won’t matter if you voted for him or not. What this person does will affect us all. All I can do is protect the person next to me as best I can, and hope they will do the same. May whatever divine beings there are let us in on the joke and end this before the innocent begin dying.
