Why I Am Joining The March : So much that I care about is at stake. I live in a wonderfully diverse community (1/3 black, 1/3 white, 1/4 Latino, the rest, everyone else). I have friends, relatives, neighbors who are gay, Muslim, Jewish, disabled, poor, elderly, every race, etc. More than half the people I deeply care about are women (and truly amazing women at that). My sisters in writing don’t get advances, reviews, publication or recognition anywhere near what male authors are given (please read books by women and review them on Amazon). And I love science and education and the earth, and don’t want to see ignorance and greed win.
