Group of 10 marchers

Kitty Wallis: Why I Am Joining The March : I want to stop Trump

Glenis Zempel: Why I Am Joining The March : I am unable to stand and walk for any lenght of time, but really wish to be a part of the Women’s March to protest the President elect. (I cannot and will not call him the next President). My protest is for the people he has harmed with both words and deeds, and whom I feel will be hurt by the new administration. I work with disabled , artists,LGBT and other marginalized people. We need to stand up to the bully and do eveything we can to object to his actions and words and to support one another.

Virginia Robinson

JAuerbeck: I March because I, along with thousands of others, have depression, and access to mental health services IS A RIGHT, not a privilege.

Sandra Neville: I will be home home taking care of my ill husband and autistic son. I will be there in spirit because my daughter and her son are also health-compromised persons who rely on decent access to high level health care to stay alive. Adequate healthcare should be for all people, not just the moneyed elite.
Lorrie Hall: I’ve been voting for 42 years and this will be the first inauguration that I will not watch. I have one total knee replacement and need to have the other one replaced, so I’m unable to walk long distances or join the march in my town. My heart will be with you all. I was a home health care physical therapist and saw the horrors of lack of medical care for the poor and uninsured. We must fight to make health care a right for all.
Jane Morris: Please consider me as joining the march. I have been disabled by CFIDS-Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome-since the age of 27 in 1981. That’s 36 years. And I am at this moment much too tired to follow your instructions about joining the march, including photo, or writing my bio and my reasons for opposing Trump. Suffice it to say that after a lifetime of activism, pain and poverty, I am in no mood to see our country plunged into a new Dark Ages where science, research, health care, the arts, education, and everything that is good and holy is de-funded, dismantled and denigrated. I will fight, somehow. I am with you.
Thank you.
Dorothy: I am unable to be there marching along beside so many amazing women, and great men, because of my situation. In this opportunity my goal is to allow the still president elect to know that I will not lose my integrity, think or feel hopeless while watching him walking with Putin and committing treason and so many other acts of crime in the U SA, while the Republicans are allowing him to move forward, and run our country. Thanks to this committee for this time to express myself.
Ginger Day: Why I Am Joining The March : I am joining the march simply because the election of Trump as President is not only a real threat to women but also to every minority group in our country. I’m also marching for education, environmental protection, health care, and for the hope that if Americans join to together to protest and fight injustice and to make our voices heard and succeed. I march for my daughters, nieces, sisters, cousins, friends, and especially my grandchildren for their future!
Patty Hoffman George: Why I Am Joining The March : I have a disability that prevents me from participating in public events during the cold/flu season., therefor I am joining the virtual march to unify with my sisters because woman’s rights are human rights. I believe in love, peace and acceptance.
