Group of 10 marchers

Kathy Conley: Why I Am Joining The March : At 71 I have seen the progress our country has made in the treatment of all people but we have so far to go. It breaks my heart to see innocent people degraded and made fun of because the new president does it. What are we teaching the younger generations? It is NOT right to treat people in any way that disrespects them as individuals. I want my children and grandchildren to grow up in a country without fear. As of now they are fearful of what is going to happen to them and their country. Wish I was able to walk with my sister-in-law in DC or in Boston with my granddaughter.

Regan Smith: Why I Am Joining The March : Because I can’t sit aside and be silent any longer.

catherine graf: Why I Am Joining The March : I would be in Washington physically but for severe back problems that make walking very difficult and painful. I oppose everything Donald Trump stands for and plans to do and I do not feel this was a legitimate election.

Why I Am Joining The March : Our country has suffered a coup and democracy is hanging on by a thread. I am deeply disappointed by the millions who did not vote.
Our country is under siege, and our rights are being discounted and disrespected. We will not stand for it.

Kathy Gee: Why I Am Joining The March : I hope Congress hears us and does not undo the progress that we have made in regards to women’s rights, LBGT rights, and more, as well as preserving funding for the arts.

Why I Am Joining The March : I have lupus, and a galaxy of autoimmune ailments that go with it. I am still hoping to march locally, but I love the opportunity to march virtually in Washington, our nation’s capitol.

JoAnn Villalobos: Why I Am Joining The March : I am a longtime California progressive activist, and am hindered with anemia currently. Would love to march anywhere in the beautiful SF Bay Area or at least go on the local 5pm hike here in Vallejo, CA as a peaceful way to end the day, but I can’t walk without huffing and puffing right now.

Pamela Garner-Taylor: Why I Am Joining The March : I am unable to march, due to limited physical stamina, as a result four failed knee surgeries. However, I want my voice heard!!!
I am NOT willing to stand by silently, as this country is setback by the incoming group of hate-mongering, misogynistic, fascist swamp monsters setting up shop
in our nation’s capital.
All lives matter..Women’s rights matter.
We will NOT go away, we will NOT be silent, we will NOT give up. EVER

Alicia Lewis: Why I Am Joining The March : I am joining the march because as a mother of a special needs child and a woman, no one should have to fight for their basic rights. I am fearful of what the future may hold for my children and fight for a much needed change!

Susan Mccown: Why I Am Joining The March : Because this has gone far enough. The joke has turned around and bit the GOP in the ass. The man is not fit to lead this country.
How can the Christians is this country allow him to place his hand on the bible to take the oath.
He lies for a living
