Why I Am Joining The March : I feel it is very important to register my dis approval of the hate that has so characterized the current discussions. We must learn to listen to each other and compromise. This is what democracy is all about. No one gets everything they want! The majority didn’t prevail in this election so we must find other ways to make our voice heard.
Renee Rose: Why I Am Joining The March : I’d love to March but injuries over the years from dairy farming have alas prevented it
A bit of history
Was at -1969 anti Vietnam March hundreds of thousands strong in NYC and only had to leave because my beautiful daughter Catherine was being born!
We’re both still participating!!

Why I Am Joining The March : I’m a woman. I have a rare disease. I fear for my future. I fear for the future of this nation. I fear for the future of this planet. I stand for others like me, and for those unlike me, who face uncertainty and discrimination at this time.
Nila Ouska: Why I Am Joining The March : I’m heartsick that’s so many people did not vote in the last election and that it allowed a misogynist racist unstable man to be voted in as president. I’m also appalled that the actions the Republican Senate and house have taken. It’s all completely Unamerican
Jane Cruz: Why I Am Joining The March : I have back issues and can walk just short distances. I also recently had my colon removed, and I have to use the bathroom frequently. I am housing nine people who have come from New York and Rhode Island for the March. I will attend in spirit and soul.
Gayle Onnen: Why I Am Joining The March : I’m able to join the sisters in solidarity in person due to illness!
Missy: Why I Am Joining The March : To stand up for women’s rights. And let all who oppose this know that we are strong and not going to give up. Love trumps hate!!!
jheetderks: Why I Am Joining The March : Wishing to march but limited mobility and stamina. Will be home doing things that are significant to me. Clearing some of my own clutter feels like purging that we all can do on all levels. Making meals to donate signifies helping others. Moving my body prayers to show gratitude for what I can do.

Why I Am Joining The March : I am a 26 year old queer disabled latina disabled nonbinary individual who fights to keep many of their rights when Trump takes office and I only wish I could march in DC to defend these rights. I suffer from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, as well as it’s many underlying disorders and currently bed-bound and use a wheelchair permanently. I can barely keep my stance, let alone my basic human rights. I am scared for this presidency and my life, and want to show the world that despite being fragile and disabled, I am worthy of life and this country IS half decent.
Jenny Oakley: Why I Am Joining The March : I was diagnosed at age 30 with Sle Lupus, severe RA, etc. My life is a daily struggle, especially since i am still responsible to be a mother of 3 children. Disability has allowed me to be able to live with this disease as i had to quit my job of 13 years in the legal field due to my chronic illness.
Medicare has allowed me to obtain the medical care that i must have in order to live. I see 6 different medical specialist and without each of their care i may die. If trump privatises Medicare there is no way that people like me who rely on Social Securitu Disability could afford Medicare.
These, among other reasons, are why I STAND AGAINST TRUMP!
