Please accept this as my place on the Women’s March, Cardiff, UK.

I’m joining this march because it’s essential both short and long-term to show solidarity with other women in this scary political climate. Although progress is being made by feminists, we are being held back more and more often by a certain brand of fear-based right wing politics.

I’m a 30-year-old mother of two boys (2 years, six weeks) and would love to attend to show them and my husband that the fight is vital for all of us, not just cis women. However, I can’t attend as I have Asperger’s and will find the noise and crowds very stressful and unbearable.
