Because I refuse to sit by quietly while we elect a president who thinks women are disposable nothings valued only for their beauty, enabled by politicians who don’t respect our rights and want to see us thrown back to the 1950’s, in a time when it’s deemed okay by those in power to denigrate women, the disabled, poor people, people of color, immigrants, people of other viewpoints and religions and anyone who disagrees with their political views.
