I have chronic ulcerative colitis and fibromyalgia. Although I really wanted to attend the Washington March the time and energy involved along with concerns for bio breaks along the way prevented me from physically joining the march. In addition to showing our solidarity I believe it’s of paramount importance to remind all of our sisters of our strength and what we can do in light of the challenging times ahead. There are so many issues to face- health care- planned parenthood-LGBT rights – the environment -gun control and so much more. This march will energize all of us as we take on these challenges.
