Disability activism has become more important to me now that my freedoms and government assistance are in danger of being swept aside by the new administration. Nobody is going to protect my rights if I don’t stand up and demand it. Joining the Disability March is a great way to put our needs in the spotlight.

I’m a 34-year-old woman living in Atlanta, Georgia. I was born with a congenital condition known as Arthrogryposis, which has made me work tirelessly to overcome hurdles brought on by my quadriplegia. I’m a published author of historical fiction and paranormal nonfiction. I’m also an artist by utilizing pencils and brushes with my mouth.
