Why I am Joining: My husband and I are both blind and have two small
children, so we are honored to virtually join the march tomorrow.
Besides our blindness, my husband is an African-American Muslim, I am
a female, our children are biracial. We “hold the truth to be
self-evident that all [people] have the right to life, liberty and the
pursuit of happiness.” The heroes of the next four years will emerge,
and we want to support them.
