I’m joining the march because I believe in the America of inclusion and tolerance, of female autonomy and opportunity, and a feminist movement where all sexualities, races, abilities, and genders are included. I’m joining the march because women are often left out of the narrative and the conversation, and now we’re taking it back.
I wish I could be there in person, but due to my chronic illness, that would be next to impossible. I virtually march for my chronically ill sisters and siblings who fear losing their health care and the subsidies they depend upon to survive. We are not a drain on America’s resources. We are part of what makes it great.
