I am marching not only for myself, a gay disabled woman, and my family but for all who’s lives will be affected by the incoming administration. We must fight like hell against racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia and ableism. We must challenge and ultimately attempt to dismantle the capitalist patriarchy which has for too long determined how and if we live. We cannot normalize the rhetoric and views of the right wing establishment or we risk our lives and our humanity. I cannot walk alongside my comrades this weekend but my heart will be with all of them and my voice as strong and clear as theirs.
