Why I march: I am marching because I am a woman, I have a disability, I am a lesbian and I am a survivor. I have spent the last 20 years working on issues of violence against people with disabilities and will not sit back and watch my life’s work disappear before my eyes. I take offense to the position the GOP has taken on issues and fighting this agenda should be important to all Americans.

Who I am: I have a Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and have spent much of my working life addressing issues of violence against people with disabilities. I am a disability, feminist and anti-violence advocate.
