Woman in scrubs, sunglasses on her head, muzzle in hand, sitting on the ground, being kissed by a wolf. (yes, that’s a full-blood wolf, at a sanctuary I help. No, she’s not tame)
I’m joining this march to show solidarity with disabled folks everywhere, who find their lives limited by ignorance, discrimination, hate, and greed. I grew up with a father who had had polio, and was constantly amazed at the ignorance and discrimination he experienced, so I’ve made it part of my life to always offer help to those who might otherwise be “invisible”. Now that I’m disabled, I’m working even harder.
I’m a fiber artist, now working with a local wolf sanctuary, to help them raise money for ongoing health and medical care for the residents, and hope to raise enough to help the sanctuary move to a safer location https://www.etsy.com/shop/WildandWolfy?ref=hdr
