I am joining the Disability March to be with my sisters and brothers in spirit and complete the circle of strength to stand up for equal rights and decency for all.
Why I march:I am a middle aged, young at heart women, living in NW CT. I have lived through the fight for equal rights and never thought I’d
have to do so again and frightened that those rights, that have been granted, will be taken away. I have 5 pre-exsiting conditions and fear that my husband, who is in his 60s, will have to work until he can’t, just to cover my medical bills. We will not be silenced. We are all one.
I March for all Americans, all colors, all religions, all ages and incomes, for the LGBTQ community, the minorities and those that have been forgotten and persecuted.I march for DEMOCRACY!
Who I am: I am a white women in my 50’s. I live in a small rural community that I grew up in,I am a fourth generation. I have worked as a Home Health manager and owned my own small business. I am now unable to work due to medical conditions and have reinvented my self and now a photographer showing the beauty in the world around me.
Thank you ,thank you, thank you ,for doing this and allowing us to participate and be involved.
