She spent her last years in bed, fighting for every last benefit, proving over and over again that she deserved the meagre income she had earned, from taxes she had paid; yet they made her feel like a beggar. ACA came too late to save her, and now millions more will be condemned to suffer. Such a waste of life. She was only 61, and had her entire fourth novel in her head.
