My name is Marcia.

I am joining the disability march because of arthritis in my knees which would make it difficult to walk the route of the march in Seattle. I too want to protest the election of Donald Trump. He stands against everything that I value (Planned Parenthood, Universal Health Care, Protecting the Environment, Free Press and Quality Public Schools). There should not be a Muslim Registry. It is important that our President be able to listen to those that disagree with him and not lash out. He should release his taxes so that there is transparency regarding his finances. He needs to support NATO and our allies rather than Putin and Russia’s interests, especially aggression in Eastern Europe.

I am a 74 year old mother and grandmother. I am also a retired RN. I am currently a community volunteer with a focus on supporting children’s literacy.
