Martha Calie

martha-calie
A young woman waits for her turn to have a therapeutic horseback lesson. Her brown hair is ruffled and she is wearing a black jacket over a fuchsia and gray shirt while sitting in a chair with adaptive seating. There is a green farm fence in the background.

Why I am joining the march:
I wish that I could march because I understand that I’m a person who has needs just like every woman.  Sometimes I have it pretty good and realize that other women have it much harder than I do.  I’m on their side.  I’m with these women because we may or may not have things in common but we all have potential.  We all work.  We all love.  We have a future.  I walk for the futures of women in KY and across the country.  Our futures should allow us to be ourselves, our very best selves.
