I have a physical disability, and use a mobility scooter. Traveling to DC is cost prohibitive, and where I live in CA, it is supposed to be raining during the scheduled march. Rain, and electric scooters, do not work together well. So, I was delighted to be able to participate in a virtual march, to still be counted, and to still be part of a larger message to our newly elected POTUS and his cabinet that women’s rights include the right to choose. As a disabled female, I march to protest the cutting of necessary government responsibilities to the people in the areas of health care, education, housing, environment etc. I regret that FDR did not survive his 4th term, as he would have made significant progress on his 4 Freedoms: Speech, Worship, Want, and Fear; the same freedoms I support. In summary, I march for social justice, to insure that politicians elected by the people, represent the people (not corporations).
