I desperately wish I could attend in person, but I know it’s not a good idea for me & my health.
My #whyimarch is because I am the face of preexisting conditions. Because I’m disabled, which does not make me less. Because victims of sexual assault deserve to be heard. Because my daughter needs to know that she deserves better. Because women are important, all of us. Because my daughter & I need access to preventative health care. Because my son needs to see me standing up for women & to know we deserve better. To protect my body & my daughter’s.
Because ALL women, regardless of race, religion, size, sexual orientation or any other differences, are still important women.
