We march for those with invisible illnesses – for those who live in pain daily – yet aren’t seen as “sick”. We march for affordable care. We march, in love, for our love. We march for our trans family, for Megan’s students – who deserve a better future than the one promised under the new administration.
Mimi is a student studying creative writing; Megan is a high school teacher. We’ve been married for a year in December. Mimi is chronically ill, her main conditions: Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, POTs, MCAD, gastroparesis, dystonia. She is in a wheelchair about 80% of the time.
