My name is Melissa Wilcox. I am an American citizen living in Sweden.  I have fibromyalgia and arthritis that affects my mobility.  The nearest march to me is Stockholm, which is an 8-hour train trip for me, plus some busses and walking.  I’ve included a picture of my version of the Pussyhat that I am knitting in support of the men and women who are marching.  I will post a picture of myself wearing it as my facebook status on the day of the march.

I am participating in the Women’s March on Washington in support of all of the groups that Trump and his supporters have (intentionally or unintentionally) attempted to marginalize:  women, persons with non-heterosexual-normative sexualities, people of color, immigrants, muslims, journalists, people with disabilities, people with imperfect bodies, ANYBODY who does not agree with him.  I have probably missed a few groups.
