I’m joining the march because I’m one of the millions of Americans who didn’t have health insurance before the ACA. I have Lupus, migraines, high blood pressure, among other health conditions. The year before I received health insurance my health care costs were $38k. The cost would only be higher now. I see how Trump doesn’t value women and the disabled from his actions on the campaign trail and what has happened since he won the election. His actions frighten me. I’m concerned for myself and all my loved ones. Every decision he makes seems to be worse than the last one. I fear for what is going to happen my healthcare. I fear for the rights of the disabled and the rights of women. The future feels like its cracking right beneath our feet. I don’t want to fall through.
