I am joining the march because I want women all over the world to have a voice. To be treated with respect and not sexualised. Grabbing a woman by her pussy is not the way to treat a woman. We have brains and we have voices. These are the things you are should be listening to. Our bodies are our own. We are entitled to a future, equality and to have dreams. Nobody has a right to take those away.
Bio: I am Senior Lecturer at the University of Winchester in the UK. I am disabled in that I have trouble walking but I am also PEG fed. Neither of which have stopped me living a full life. I mentor aspiring children’s writers. I write for children and young adults. I believe stories are vital because they provide hope for the future.
