A woman with short brown hair, wearing a grey knit scarf, blue and red Nordic sweater, blue plugs and earrings, and glasses.

As someone with bipolar disorder and social anxiety issues, this election has been extremely trying on my mental, emotional, and physical health. My heart marches with everyone around the world, but I know that self-care is needed to get me through this weekend. I am joining the virtual march to be present and supportive where I cannot physically be.
I am a bisexual Caucasian woman in my late 20s, who is very active in the LGBTQ+ community and has fought for gay/trans rights since coming out in college. I also believe in and support minority causes, and studied Asian/Asian-American Studies during my undergrad degree. I am one-half of an interracial marriage, and my multicultural family spans nearly every continent on the globe. I stand with BLM, Planned Parenthood, and our Muslim/Middle Eastern neighbours. I will never stop fighting for those I love.
