Even though I live in the suburbs of Washington, D.C. and would love to physically join the March, physically and medically I am unable to do so. I’ve been dealing with nerve damage after a bout of shingles, can no longer drive nor travel alone as I’ve had incidents of losing my balance and falling. This misogynistic tyrant, who I refer to as “Herr Drumpf”(his ancestral German name), is NOT my President and I DESPISE everything that he has said and done against women, people of color, and disability, (I’m in ALL those categories as I’m bi-racial, like my cousin Barry Obama, I’m a woman, and I am now disabled).

I am a retiree from Gallaudet University and have been pretty much housebound recently ever since I broke out with shingles. One of my passions is Genealogy, which is how I learned that President Barack Obama and I are distant cousins through my Dad’s side of the family. Not too long ago I learned, through Ancestry DNA, that Woody Guthrie and his son, Arlo, are also cousins. Ironically, Woody Guthrie wrote a song about Herr Drumpf’s father! For fun, I updated the lyrics and saved it on my computer. I think I have to get permission from cousin Arlo before I can publicly share the updated song due to copyright limitations.
