Hello. My name is Patty, and I am a recent recipient of a double lung transplant — too recent to participate in person. Before I was diagnosed with the genetic disorder Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, I was a web designer, programmer, and freelance writer. (pattymahlon.com)
I wish to participate in the Women’s March in any way I can because I met met entirely too many women and their families who suffer as a result of inequality in our health system, which is only poised to become worse if the new administration holds to its promises/threats.
