My name is Quinn. My photo represents a huge milestone for me. It shows that even though it took me longer than most, and it was a struggle, I had finally reached a point in my illness where it only controls me most of the time and I had recovered hugely (though never completely) from major brain surgery and a brain tumor.

I am recovering from a pituitary adenoma resection, the pituitary adenoma itself appears to be back. I have cushings, diabetes insipidus, seizures, and a few other fun times. I try operate a small art company (but art life is hard my art is on facebook under @catalystgoods) and was a bike messenger (messed up cognition makes jobs hard) , but a recent accident and resulting grand mal have put me back on the wait for some disability assistance which I can never seem to get, because apparently intelligence and education make one too ‘high functioning’ and disability null and void.
I wish to support the march because President Obama worked so hard to make real change in this country and now it is being set back hundreds of years in protest of rich, white power feeling itself dying out. Beyond what is happening to women, minorities, and anyone not in the top 1%… I fear for myself and others who have disabilities and struggle to live as it is, even after President Obama saved our lives with the ACA. I fear for my sisters who will have to face hate for those of us that love each other when they say we shouldn’t. I fear for the world with this man at the helm.
