Statement: I am temporarily disabled after an accident left me with a broken leg and a thigh high cast. I had every intention of being in DC with my sisters, standing in solidarity. But due to mobility issues, I have to say home. I cannot even join the walk in my own city. So I join this march to still stand with my sisters. To show that enough is enough and we must stand together to bring about real change. I will heal and be mobile again, but too many are negatively affected by the Republican agenda. I am no better than they if I don’t stand with my sisters!
Bio: Single mother of 3, ordained Priestess for Mother Grove Goddess Temple. My heart lies in taking care of my community, both here in North Carolina and abroad.
