Why I Am Joining This March: My permanent conditions (polymyalgia rheumatica and epilepsy) are controlled by medication, so in theory I could march. But, unfortunately, I can’t manage right now because I am recovering from foot surgery. I do hope to participate in a rally in Savannah, Georgia, and I am also joining this march, because I believe Trump is unqualified, undignified, unstable, and un-presidential. I believe he is dangerous. What’s more, I believe the current GOP agenda is devastating and cruel.

Bio: Theresa Welford lives and teaches in Georgia. She is an essayist, a poet, and an author of children’s books. She is passionate about books, movies, travel, vegetarianism, animals, and social justice.
