I am a Queer, Disabled, Femme whose mobility is already impacted by lack of access to care. I’m marching on behalf of myself and others who stand to lose their healthcare and their social security or disability benefits. I’m marching for my Queer and Trans loved ones who will face a rollback of rights. I’m marching for People of Color, immigrants, and Native Americans who are all facing unprecedented discrimination. I am marching for Muslims, who are unfairly targeted and scapegoated. I am marching for women, whose rights have been steadily rolled back. I am marching for the obscene number of incarcerated people in this country, most notably those who have been swept into modern slavery. I am marching for artists, for veterans, for the working class, and for every person that the incoming administration will endanger or deprive of the rights that have heretofore defined America.
A Los Angeles native, now in San Francisco. A bleeding heart through and through. I have a strong interest in social justice and have been an activist since high school. I firmly believe that we have a responsibility to leave this world better than it was when we arrived, and that’s true environmentally, culturally, and socially.
