I’m joining the march because I have several mental illnesses and the physical/emotional strain of joining a physical march is just too much for me. I’m worried about what this presidency will bring for those with physical and mental disabilities. I worry about healthcare, about not having coverage for mental health anymore. I worry about not having my insurance cover mental health prescriptions anymore. I worry about the lack of mental health training for first responders. I worry about the uptick in violence against those with physical and mental disabilities. And I’m worried about the general direction our country is heading. I’m hoping that by virtually marching with the rest of this group and with those who are physically marching, in Washington D.C. and throughout the country that perhaps at least a few lawmakers wake up and realize that we’re NOT going to take changes lying down.

I’m a librarian currently working in a non-degreed position at a library. I’m also a free lance book reviewer which is what my website is for – book reviews and other musings on life. Outside of those things I like nature walks and nature photography, playing with my niece & nephew, painting ceramics, and water gardening.
