I am a teacher at a school for children with learning disabilities. I have cystic fibrosis and a double lung transplant. I am unable to attend the march because I need to avoid large crowds and I need to save my sick time for emergencies. I am marching for education for all children and because the ACA has helped me greatly.  2 years ago I was able to get married and go on my husband’s insurance without a waiting period or other obstacle. I am marching in hope that we can join in love and defend all people who are marginalized.
