I would love to join the Washington DC march or the one in New Orleans where I live. I had polio as a child and now have post-polio syndrome. My mobility is seriously impaired. I use a wheel chair outside my home and a friend who is marching offered to push me. I have pneumonia and I’m not able to go.
I’m a retired clinical social worker and the second half of my clinical career I evaluated children who had special needs. I am alarmed by the GOP’s trying to repeal ACA as well as the nominees for Education and HHR. The consequences will be devastating. I oppose most of what this new administration stands for and I’m standing (or sitting!) for all of us who they are attempting to marginalize.
