As much as I would love to join a woman’s march in a nearby city, my disabilities/mental health concerns prevent this. My GAD generally leads to panic attacks in large crowds, and because of my PTSD I would really like to avoid putting myself in situations where I may be touched or arrested. I will do what I can from places where I feel safe, and my heart goes out to everyone who could make it to a march and who wanted to but can’t because they’re disabled like I am. I am afraid, as are many of us. I supported all the marginalized folx out there who stand to be hurt by this administration.
