I am joining the march in solidarity with other women and allies who are marching today for woman’s rights and for equity and social justice for all people. I am joining in memory of women who have marched before us and in honor and celebration of those who will be “speaking truth to power” in the future. I am glad to be here.
I am here to honor the women, in this country and around the world, who have joined with us and those whose lives are threatened by violence and oppression.
I am here in celebration of all the women- with and without disabilities- who are transforming their communities and helping to heal the world. I am here in witness, asking that our political leaders honor and preserve the rights and opportunities that so many fought so hard for and that our now at risk. Thanks to everyone who is participating in this march and to all the organizers who made it possible.
