I am joining the disability march because I cannot get a ride to the nearest local march, nor do I have a wheelchair, so if I DID go I would be in pain in short order from my fibromyalgia, diabetic neuropathy and arthritis, and before long my asthma would kick in too — but I am joining rather than giving up and forgetting the whole thing because I believe that Donald Trump is an illegitimate president and an evil person, his cabinet appointees are the most horrible, insane folks he could find (I think they were found for him by Putin) and Congress is run by greedy wimps who would let our country be destroyed before they would give up a cent of their fortunes or a minute of their personal power.
I’m owned by six cats, a dog and a man; the latter not quite housebroken. My Medicare finally starts in February, so I’ve been singing a different Beatles song every day for the past year; on my 65th birthday I’ll end with “Birthday.” I’m a writer, although this disjointed (hastily written) autobiography may seem to bely that. Some of my writings can be found at https://www.patreon.com/genessa . I run a closed (not secret) Facebook group called Resisting Trump at https://www.facebook.com/groups/250552688701983/ and its focus is not qvetching but activism.

a faded, blurry black and white picture of me as a very small child, my arms outspread, my very ’50s eyeglasses barely secure on my bleached-out face, as I run or stumble toward an uncertain future!
