I cannot attend due to being weak from treatment for lymphoma.
Born in Eastern North Carolina, held many low-paying positions in my life, but retired from teaching at a university. I am supporting this protest because of the misogyny, bigotry, and xenophobia that have been traits of our new president. I am hoping he will grow in character and really try to represent all people. I am concerned about the fate of the ACA, Medicare, and Social Security. I have hope, but a heathly skepticism. Let our voices be raised and heard!
My name is Katharine Clark and I want to March because I have been subjected to prejudice due to my gender and religious path. Also, I was released from my last position, which I held for over 20 years, because I became disabled and developed mobility issues.
