Jedi Apprentice

For two years, I’ve been joking that if Trump won, I would join the resistance. It’s horrifying that’s no longer a laughing matter and frustrating that disability limits what I can do right now. The best I can do tonight is “march”  for the Jews of my generation, who are learning for the first time that what happened in  1930s Germany can happen in modern America, and for the endless classes of people threatened and disenfranchised by the new administration. I am “marching” for the aspirational values that make America great: respect, justice, diversity, and democracy.

I’m an ethics Jedi apprentice— a first-year law student planning on a career in government accountability.
