I am marching in the disability march online because chronic Lyme disease is a constant reminder that even with the best of intentions, I am often unable to participate and be present in life as I would like to be. I march for my 7 year old niece, who I hope will be able to grow up in a country where she is the only person allowed to make decisions regarding her body, her health and her future. I march for my rights as a gay woman to be upheld, for my friends of different ethnicities and religions, for the inclusively of all American’s and to celebrate the diversity that IS America.
